2022-23 USTA/ITF Tournament Rates, Mileage & Conditions

Cancellation: If there is a cancellation or reduction in force (number of officials needed) within 24 hours of the official’s report time for that day, each official affected will receive the Short Day (SD) rate for his/her position. No charge if official is notified prior to that time. If any official is en route (leaves home) to the event, full pay will be paid.

USTA Mileage: No mileage will be charged for USTA tournaments with a round trip of 70 miles or less. Mileage will be charged for USTA tournaments starting with the 71st mile round trip with a maximum of $200.00.

ITF Mileage: Mileage traveled by an official will be charged for ITF tournaments with a maximum of $200.00.

Hotel: A hotel room shall be offered to officials traveling more than 80 miles round trip and working consecutive days at a site.

Meals: Lunch will be provided. Dinner will be provided if work continues past 7:00 p.m. If requested, the tournament can elect to have umpires provide their own meals for a charge of $12.00 per umpire.
